We have seen “One Being” and “One Moment” and how important they are to Love so now let’s look at the last of the start of the Love Lessons – One Mission! Before we start let me say that there are many more Love Lessons but to understand them we first have to understand theses 3 and especially this third one.
What was the Mission of Christ, how did that affect us and how does that affect the way we live our mission? Did Jesus come to empower us to be better law keepers or did He come to set us “Free indeed”?
“Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” – John 1:16-17
The reason condemnation ends with Christ is that “Christ is the end of the law for all who believe” (Romans 10:4) because the law which was given through Moses separated man from God and what God wants most of all is an intimate relationship with you, His Beloved child.
Christ came to show us All how Beloved we Are by The God Who Is Love beyond human comprehension. The law given by Moses produces the guilt and shame needed and necessary to lead us to Christ by Faith. Christ was, is and always will be The Becon of Gods Unconditional and Eternal Love beyond human conception that He has for you.
Knowing this and grasping even the smallest bit of it gets us to our Mission which is a mirror of His Mission:
“My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.” – John 15:12
How do we change the world for the better? By “Loving each other” unconditionally! How do we show our love for God? By “Loving each other” unconditionally!
Jesus didn’t even didn’t even allow the rich young ruler to call Him “good” and yet Jesus shared the story of “The Good Samaritan” and what made Him “Good” – LOVE!
We were never called to be the moralistic police for a country But we are charged with “Loving each other” let us Now know our Individual Mission in this Moment and Love All, judge none and Be The Light of the world like Jesus was, is and Always will be!
Throughout the rest of the “Love Lessons” we will examine just how Jesus Accomplished His Mission and thus how we can accomplish ours – I hope you will join me for this journey.
