What does it mean to be “born of The Spirit” or “born again” and why did Jesus say this to those who followed the law so very closely?
Is being “born again” a greater degree of religiosity by those who would be stoned for breaking the slightest law?
“Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.” – John 3:5-6
Jesus was repeatedly known as the “Life” giver, a title that the law never had and for a very simple reason – GOD RADICALLY LOVES YOU! In simply believing in Him you have Life!
“But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.” – John 20:31
Please keep in mind that the idea of being “born again” or “Spirit birth” that I speak of was Not one I got from a church – it’s one I got from a point of suicidal desperation that is meant to bring the “least of these” to The Greatest of LOVE! Please Always remember God Loves you as you are right here and now and Not as you should be! My path to true Spirit birth started from this link:
