Why were you made for this moment?
Please read Psalms 139:13-14
Vs. 13 “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”
What a wonderful passage on faith, acceptance and how to overcome all in one!
I see such an ability to rest in this passage, rest in the knowledge that each and every moment is perfect- after all the moment you are currently in was ordained by God was it not?
He knew you before anyone else and in fact He put you together- just the way you are to Be, Here and Now! What amazing power and rest there is in this passage.
Do moments always feel perfect? LOL- No way and No how! But here is a secret with each moment there is a lesson if we are willing to listen – this is growth for a Grace-Full person!
When I was under the law religious growth meant following more law or “doing” better!
But Grace growth is about resting and realizing that you are here and now and so is He who made you! Grace growth is about a trust that He has it all in control and nothing can separate you from His Love! Grace growth is about growing in the freedom of Christ and realizing that Nothing and No one can separate you from His Love!
Find a time and a place where you can just breathe and relax for a moment. Preferably a place where you won’t be disturbed but if you are that moment was brought to you by God so rest in it. Lift your shoulders to your ears, let them drop and take a few deep breaths to really relax. When you feel a bit more relaxed just get back to normal breathing and:
Breathe in and say:
“Thank you for”
Breathe out and say:
“This perfect moment”
Practice this for a few days and any time throughout the day when you doubt this perfect moment. See if in time this builds Grace and Faith that He has it all in control!!
Don’t worry, Be-Grace-Full!!
