Why Christmas? Part 8 “From”
“This is what God the LORD says— the Creator of the heavens, who stretches them out, who spreads out the earth with all that springs from it, who gives breath to its people, and life to those who walk on it:” – Isaiah 42:5
There is for me Great mystery in God!
For me this is how God must be as it is the only way for Faith to Be! Faith cannot exist in something I see as what I see and know completely becomes unfaith, common and no longer needing to examine and grow into.
On the very first Christmas Present there was a tag that said “To” and “From” like most Christmas Presents have on them. I would like you to get a clear picture on that tag and look at the “To” – as you do place your name there.
On the “From” part of this Amazing Gift tag let’s look at what is written above:
“The Creator of the heavens” – This Amazing Gift, The First Christmas Present was given to you by THE ONE WHO created the heavens! Look up – the same Being that created that – gave you The Present we will be unwrapping over the next few devotionals.
“Who stretches them out, who spreads out the earth with all that springs from it” – This Amazing Gift, The First Christmas Present was given to you by THE ONE WHO created and expands Every Thing on earth and above it!
“Who gives breath to its people and life to those who walk on it” – This Amazing Gift, The First Christmas Present was given to you by THE ONE WHO gives you each and every breath that you take and the life that you have!
THE GOD! THE ONE WHO WAS, IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE – FREELY GAVE you and me EVERYTHING and then some – even while we hated HIM – He still Loved us this much and more than we could ever imagine!
This is WHO your present is from – keep reading to see the extent of This Present and how The Present is horribly undervalued by most – especially the religious!

I don’t believe God is sadistic or requiring a PhD to grasp the basic ideas – this is a big part of why I write – God wants a relationship with you Not a robot or a book worm! He needs Lovers Not Law-ers. He is seeking a Love based relationship with each of His creations – not a stressed religious hamster on a wheel of never ending “just not good enough” works.
Ask yourself this question – did Jesus come to bring in a new covenant or didn’t He?
Christ is the end of the law for ALL who believe! He didn’t end the law for those that don’t believe for a very good reason – the purpose of the law was, is and always will be to get us to fail right into Jesus! The power of sin is the law – but “in Christ” the power of sin was broken – are you ready to let go?
