Its somewhat of a regular occurrence now and it gets more and more funny each time someone says it, “well its not that easy, you have to do something for God in exchange!” Really? Do people stop and think about how they sound?

IF I could “do something” for God or if I had to earn His Love then think about the way that sounds for the Power, Presence and Love of God! Is He and His Love really that weak?

Who will sit beside you in heaven?

Who are the false believers?

What do they want?

This matter arose because some false believers had infiltrated our ranks to spy on the freedom we have in Christ Jesus and to make us slaves. We did not give in to them for a moment, so that the truth of the gospel might be preserved for you.” – Galatians 2:4-5

The truth of a spiritual path with God is this-He is always creating ways and lessons to soften us and create better Lovers within us. As such the person sitting to my right and my left in heaven will be two of the most loving and gentle beings ever created.

A false believer according to this passage and many others is the one that wants to make you a slave to law!

Why?

Because misery loves company perhaps. Perhaps because they feel it is more important to convert than it is to Love. But for whatever reason they want to take away that which the gospel created- Freedom in Christ!

So how do you spot a “freedom spy”?

1)    They will tell you that something besides Christ is needed.

2)   They will make you feel guilt and shame for anything that they don’t like but they never follow the whole law, only the comfortable part.

3)   They will be more concerned about you thinking and acting like them than they will be concerned about Loving you.

Find a time and a place where you probably won’t be disturbed. Set an intention that for the next 10 minutes you are going to relax and focus on the Love of God. Take a few deep breathes and with every exhale, relax a bit more. Really relax your jaw and once you have and you are breathing normally:

Breathe in and say:

God’s Love

Breathe out and say:

is Bigger than me

Practice like this until you get the sense that He doesn’t need someone to judge others. He needs people to Love others like Christ Loved them!

Don’t worry-Be GraceFull!!

Do you limit the Love of God for yourself or others?
