Who Loves you?

Why is it important to recognize who He is?

What happens as we realize that?

This, then, is how you should pray: “ ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,” – Matthew 6:9

Who was Jesus?

In my estimation He was a simple man, the son of a carpenter and in worldly terms He wasn’t anything particularly special. As a result He put things in simple ways that you don’t need multiple PhDs to grasp. He was a common man speaking to common men about a very uncommon relationship.

As a result let’s look at how he simplified prayer and asked us to pray “not like the hypocrites” (Matthew 6:5) who love to stand and hear themselves speak.

Christ came to make a simple path to God and here it is- if you have read many of my articles and it seems somewhat repetitious well I am a simple man who only really knows six words for sure- GOD IS LOVE and GOD LOVES YOU!!

Everything outside of those six words matters very little in fact not at all when you really think about it in eternal terms.

Now think about this; God, yes God, The God, The One Who controls the universe and The One Who keeps the lights turned on and keeps everything going and started this whole show- LOVES YOU! He has time for YOU! He wants nothing more than to hold you, show you how much He Loves you and to be with you.

The reason to recognize Him as who He is, isn’t because He needs His ego stroked but for a clearer understanding of just how valuable you are to the most Amazing Being Of All Eternity!

Does believing this and understanding who He is have an impact on your self-esteem?

Does it make a difference that God- The Only God of Love and Compassion unlike any we can grasp in human terms – Loves You?

I hope and pray that you will spend some time today and each day just thinking about a Love that is without end being given to you. I am not talking about church, religion or “doing” a bunch of rules – I am only talking about LOVE like no other!

Here is a meditation for you. Find that special time and place where you hopefully won’t be disturbed and take several deep cleansing breathes. With each exhalation release all your stress and worry to Him. Close your eyes and begin to get a picture of God on a throne. This throne is so big it couldn’t fit in the Grand Canyon but it’s just the right size for God. Now see Him stop all that He is doing just to reach down and show His Love to you. As you get this picture:

Breathe in and say:

God Thank You

Breathe out and say:

For Loving me

Practice this until you realize just how special you are to God Almighty!

Don’t worry- Be Grace-Full!!

No condemnation in His Love- so why do you condemn yourself?
