Who is the least likely to succeed?
Who took “away the key to knowledge”?
Who did Jesus say “Woe” to multiple times?
“Woe to you experts in the law, because you have taken away the key to knowledge. You yourselves have not entered, and you have hindered those who were entering.” – Luke 11:52
There is a special relationship that happens only when it’s based on Love.
By contrast there is a relationship that never grows and in fact creates anger and hardened hearts when it is based on force and law.
What if the “key to knowledge” is this- “Love God and Love one another!”?
The reason why a person can be a “teacher of the law” and NOT have “entered” is really simple- it’s not about a person’s effort it’s about that person’s acceptance!
Acceptance of:
1) I have a need for a relationship with Jesus! I owe a debt and He wrote the check and paid the bill in full!
2) He Loves me so very much and the reason He did all this is so He could have a relationship with me.
3) Once that relationship begins He flows a Love light through you to all those around you! People know that others are Christians by the Love they have for others. Keep in mind that there is a big difference between a Christian and a religious “teacher of the law.
Find a time and a place where you probably won’t be disturbed. Take several deep breathes and with each exhale just let go and let God be with you right here and right now. As you get back to regular breathes:
Breathe in and say:
“Let me know Your”
Breathe out and say:
“Love”
Practice this way until you understand that Love is evidence of a relationship with Him and it flows from gratitude and peace.
