The most ignorant people in the world are not the ones with the least knowledge – they are the ones with the least willingness to listen!
Who is it that gives you burdens?
Was there a group that gave people burdens in the days of Jesus?
Do they still exist today?
“Jesus replied, “And you experts in the law, woe to you, because you load the people down with burdens they can hardly carry, and you yourselves will not lift one finger to help them.” – Luke 11:46
I have always found it interesting that out of everything and everyone Jesus could warn us about repeatedly the one He warned us about the most was the “experts in the law” or “the teachers of the law.”
Why is that?
Could it be because His “yoke is easy and His burden is light”? (Matthew 11:30)
Is it possible that after a person accepts Christ all that matters is that they LOVE? (John 15:17)
I am not here to argue and I really could care less what you or anyone thinks about this idea. But I would like to leave you with some questions.
If everyone in the world followed the idea of “Love one another” wouldn’t that pretty much be Heaven on Earth?
If God is like the god that so many shout about and have to prove and argue about would you really want to spend eternity with Him?
If the “God of Love” is not the one in charge, is there any hope?
If Jesus did not come to set the captives free and if he did come to say, “Love God and Love one another” and that is all that matters, what makes Him different from other religions that say come to me and do what I tell you?
If Jesus did not come as the “one perfect sacrifice” to “set us free indeed” then why did He come? Didn’t we already have the Law?

Don’t Worry- Be Grace-Full!!
What would the world be like if we just loved one another as commanded? Hmm.
I remember reading about how Jesus took the law of the Pharisees and making a public spectacle of them He took those laws and nailed them to the cross, thus killing the law and all they stood for. This is definitely an interesting and thought provoking write. Definite food for prayer.
Yes it is brother! Thank you for sharing!
What most Christians forget is that the Only way to God the Father is through Jesus!
Just think about the above statement for a moment – Not the law, not our efforts or works or goodness!
JESUS!
This is Grace – its ALL been done and its Over, finished – no more needs to be done!
This creates the freedom to Love, Live and the Grateful Heart that overflows!
