When did Jesus curse something?

Is there a point where Jesus or God say enough?

Could it be that at some point Jesus cursed things or groups?

Does Love eventually turn away?

Please read Matthew 21:18-19

Could it be that “bear fruit” means “give Love?”

Perhaps one of the reasons for passages like this one is to show us that if we dont give Love at some time we will “wither.” Maybe “wither” is becoming bitter.

Vs. 18 “Early in the morning, as He was on His way back to the city, He was hungry. Seeing a fig tree by the road, He went up to it but found nothing except leave. Then He said to it, ‘May you never bear fruit again!’ Immediately the tree withered.”

Is there a point where Jesus inspects our tree?

What does it mean if we have no fruit of Love to quench the hunger of a hurting world?

You cant count Love or measure Love but you can see the results of a Loving person. If you dont think that is true then why is it after 2,000 years plus we are still talking about the one who defined Love- JESUS!

Bearing fruit wasnt about keeping the Law and legalities if it was Jesus had the “teachers of the law” and the others to do that. Bearing fruit isnt something that Jesus wanted to quantify as near as I can tell but we can easily see the fruit the world so desperatly needs can we not?

“Love, joy, peace, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience” against these there are no laws and isnt this what the world most needs?

Please dont wither and please allow God to send out this fruit through you.

Here is a meditation for you. Find a quiet time and place where you probably wont be disturbed but if you are know that God has given you that disturbance to bear fruit and flow with the Love. Close your eyes and take several deep breaths and every time you exhale just say, “God is Love!” As you do this begin to get a picture of you having the fruits of the Spirit as you are at work or going about your daily task and as you get that picture go over this many times:

Breath in and say:

God let me

Breath out and say:

bear Your fruit

Try this repetition about 15 or 20 times or more if you have a lot on your mind and write down in your “Love Journal” in the evening any fruits others might have had because of you. That fruit might be just a kind smile or a loving “How are you?” to a stressed out friend but all fruits help heal this world in some way.

Love, Joy, Peace and the greatest of these is Love!!
