Was Jesus Ever preachy, condemning and condescending?

YES, He was! But the funny thing is, every time He called people bad names and every time He told people they didn’t measure up and every time He told people that they were “children of the devil” it was the always the ones who practiced law the best, went to temple the most and were the shinning examples of people who kept the law of God! Meaning?

Meaning that the Fruits of The Spirit are just that Fruits of The Spirit that most Christians work so hard to grow themselves and as a result they grow increasingly frustrated for a simple reason – they are religious and Not relationship oriented – Only Grace can create a relationship and Grace Is dependence and trusting God NOT law!

Are you unleavened?

Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast leavens the whole batch of dough? Get rid of the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch—as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old bread leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.”

Your boasting is no good.” – 1 Corinthians 5:6-8

Again the law and legality and do this don’t do that based religion causes this to happen! Look at the last half of 7:

For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.”

The old bread here is just like the old wine skins that Jesus talked about in Mat. 9:17. The whole New Testament to include the prophecies in the Old Testament speak of the new covenant and Jesus is it.

What causes you to be more puffed up with pride:

1)  Look at what I did and all the laws that I follow

OR

2)  Jesus paid my debt that I could never pay and He made me Holy as He was Holy.

Who was the sacrificial lamb?

Why was He sacrificed?

What does that mean in your life today?

Please take some time to meditate on this passage and remember:
