Growing Faith can be seen in Growing ability to rest! Faith is not religion and Faith is Not what you believe but How you believe! Exercising Faith is Not your ability to follow the law it is resting in greater storms and realizing in that rest His Great Love for you!

What is the gospel?

What did the gospel change?

For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.” – Romans 1:17

There is a righteousness of law and there is a righteousness of God. While many people say they practice the righteousness of God they appear many times to actually be practicing the righteousness of law.

How can you tell which one you follow?

Faith!

Faith is not about a rule based check list. If it was most of the heroes of the Bible would have been thrown out.

Faith is about the acceptance that this moment and this place is exactly where God has you and wants you. Faith is about a non-judging acceptance of yourself and others because you know He is in charge. Faith is the acceptance of what is unseen which includes what God is doing in the other person.

The gospel simplified everything- Love one another as I have Loved you”, “Love God and love one another”, “Go and sin no more”, “Your sins are forgiven and so many more quotes of Grace like these spell out that Jesus came to be “the end of the law for all who believed”!

This is Faith- not that I can follow a stone tablet but that I rest in His righteousness and in His plan and in the healing that only His stripes (“by His stripes we are healed”) could give me!

Grace = “one sacrafice has made perfect forever” “we are no longer under the law” “by the deeds of the law shall no flesh be justified

Faith = accepting what you can’t see- His Love for you that is so deep and so pure and so holy that He made a way for you to “be holy as He is holy” though His Son alone!

The healing that is accepted by Grace through Faith is a healing that is immediate and a journey at the same time. Immediately we are reconciled to God through Christ, immediately we are justified before God through Christ, immediately we are sanctified by Christ. The journey is learning to Love each other like He loved us.
