When is Love un-nice?
“One of the experts in the law answered him, “Teacher, when you say these things, you insult us also.” Jesus replied, “And you experts in the law, woe to you, because you load people down with burdens they can hardly carry, and you yourselves will not lift one finger to help them.” – Luke 11:45-46
Love is not always nice and in fact at times it’s downright insulting! So am I!
At times I feel led to apologize and at other times I don’t – I hope you will understand as I am not trying to be arrogant but the message of the gospel has been and continues to be raped by most and I cannot and must not stay silent!
What are some times when one might see me as insulting and rude:
1) When someone tries to make the Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ about law instead of Grace! Law got me to Christ but Christ is the end of the law for all who believe! The law is good for those under it as it brings them to the One who can meet their need – but it is not for those “in Christ.”
2) When some arrogant fool tries to say that they know what I am teaching and yet they refuse to read 7 simple questions and scripture because they “know” – https://www.begracefull.com/let-the-journey-begin/
3) When I see followers of Christ being misled by “teachers of the law” – this angered Jesus, Paul, John and little ole me! I have buried friends because of legalism – but I will NOT bury anymore if I can help it!
Am I perfect? Yes and No – Christ in me is and His Love is perfecting me with regard to my relationships here even though I stand before the thrown of God right now in confidence NOT because of me but HIM in me!
I Love you and I Love Jesus – and I will share the Grace, Peace and Love of The Lord Jesus Christ with my dying breath God willing! Part of that Love is Not nice!
My thoughts exactly. I see what you’re talking about too much with some of the shared posts on the community. I have grown so weary of the such. It’s gotten to the point that I am removing at least one post a day. I think I have made it pretty clear in “about this community”, and always urge newbies and remind members of what’s there but they still choose to act like a “Pharisee”. It puts me in a place of feeling like I am being judgmental, and that’s just not cool. I must and WILL remain true to God’s Word, Jesus, this community and myself. If people can’t accept that, oh well, I won’t apologize for it. Thanks for another great bit of wisdom.
Thank you brother!
Your testimony inspires me, the community that you have created motivates me and your ministry creates a sense of Goodness in the vessel that I and so many more are and have been created to Be!
God doesn’t make any mistakes and Yes that means when brothers and sisters have disagreements – God will still get the glory! Paul had issues with the early Jewish Christians and Thank God He did- If he hadn’t you and I never would have gotten The Word!
God’s ways are not my ways and the ministry He has blessed you with is tremendous – let Him guide you and Rest in His Peace brother!
Thank you again for the Light that shines through you!
The most transparent TRUETHspoken with GRACE
I am most thankful for such reflection of life mingled with Christ. Thanks God bless
Ursula
Thank you so very much for sharing!
Praise God for you and your kind words – they mean so very much to me and God has used you today to be a beacon of Love and comfort to me!
