Why was the Jesus prophecy Always talking about healing, victories and burdens being lifted?
Because Jesus healed us of our need to “do better” by following the law. He offers Complete victory over sin because what was sin is No longer sin … “you are No longer under the law” and therefore the burden of a performance based life is GONE!
“Nevertheless, there will be no more gloom for those who were in distress. In the past he humbled the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, but in the future he will honor Galilee of the nations, by the Way of the Sea, beyond the Jordan—” Isaiah 9:1
The purpose of the law is to point you to His Love, His Forgiveness, His Peace … the reason people Dont want Jesus is that people who claim His name dont understand this idea. The people who claim to be like Christ are arrogantly moralistic based on law Instead of Passionately Caring based on His Love. They seek converts to thier moral code Instead of being Lights of UNCONDITIONAL Love to All.
