Early one morning God woke up Jesus and told Him, “today you will find an impoverished rich man in a tree.” At which time God and Jesus shared a laugh as Jesus said, “in a tree, well there is never a dull moment in saving a lost world.” Then Jesus set off for another adventure.

When Jesus reached the spot, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, come down immediately. I must stay at your house today.” So he came down at once and welcomed him gladly. All the people saw this and began to mutter, “He has gone to be the guest of a sinner.” – Luke 19:5-7

One of the things I always appreciated about Jesus and never understood about most churches is how Jesus Never cared about others opinions and yet most churches teach you to care very much about others opinions and any “appearance of evil.” If you have been reading BeGraceFull.com for a while you would know that evil to the Grace-Full is something altogether different than evil to the religious.

To the religious evil is nonconformity to the group or list of rules that they follow. Religion is a means of social control and order basically.

To the Grace-Full evil is focused on self and not on Love for others as Jesus taught!

If you want healing – Follow Jesus!

To be perfectly clear – religion will never heal you – Only Jesus will and here is why:

  1. With Jesus you are resting in what He did not what you can do! Your healing was done on the cross – “by His stripes we are healed!”
  2. With Jesus you are growing in Love Not law! “The power of sin is the law” 1 Corinthians 15:56. This is not to say that the law is bad – the law brought me to Christ – His Love holds me in Him!
  3. With Jesus you are realizing that the greater your knowledge of His Love, the greater Peace, Joy and Hope beyond human understanding is able to develop in you!
  4. With Jesus as you grow in the knowledge of His Love you share that – Not as a preachy act like me but as a genuine compassion grows for others!

This is the cycle of healing as I have experienced it and the healing is ongoing – for me healing is a lifelong process that will end Only in the ultimate healing of seeing Him face to face!
