What will your legacy be?
Will you be remembered as a “good man” or a GraceFull one?
You will leave your ricochet as everyone does, but what and how is the real question. Law or Grace have very different outcomes.
You leave things behind and things are affected by you everyday –
Be about Grace and Love and the ricochet is Beautiful.
Be about judgment, anger, stubbornness, pride, religion or other stumbling blocks and the results are a downward spiral for many others.
“The disciples had forgotten to bring bread, except for one loaf they had with them in the boat. “Be careful,” Jesus warned them. “Watch out for the yeast of the Pharisees and that of Herod.” They discussed this with one another and said, “It is because we have no bread.” Aware of their discussion, Jesus asked them: “Why are you talking about having no bread? Do you still not see or understand? Are your hearts hardened? Do you have eyes but fail to see, and ears but fail to hear? And don’t you remember? When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many basketfuls of pieces did you pick up?”“Twelve,” they replied. “And when I broke the seven loaves for the four thousand, how many basketfuls of pieces did you pick up?”They answered, “Seven.” He said to them, “Do you still not understand?” – Mark 8:14-21
God Is Love! Jesus was All about Love. He even took people who were in the midst of their sin and restored them Lovingly without them begging, scrapping or having to change or promise to change. Coming to Jesus was easy because He was Gods Love made manifest among us!
My prayer is that more and more we will grasp this simple concept – to be like God = Love like Jesus!
