The law tool 4 – unfulfilled?
Where is Jesus?
How does this understanding change you?
Is your fulfillment Love?
According to Webster’s to fulfill means-“to make full,” “to put into effect: Execute” “to meet the requirements of” “to bring to an end” “to measure up to: Satisfy” “to convert into reality”
Question how are you fulfilled in a spiritual sense?
“The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.” Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.” – Luke 10:37
What is it that “meets the requirements” for you in a spiritual sense?
What is it that causes God Almighty to look at you and know that you “measure up?”
What is it that “bring(s) to an end” your hurt and need in your spiritual life?
What “convert(s) into reality” your righteousness before an All Holy God?
The answer to each and every one of these questions can be summed up in Love.
Christ and accepting Him makes a person full. We have been saved by Grace and the Love of God caused Him who was without sin to become the sacrifice for our sin. But more than that His sacrifice “fulfilled the law” and He in us “fulfills the law.” When we accept Him He comes in and lives inside us!
How important is this?
It’s night and day! If you still think that you have to follow the law after accepting Him as Lord and Savior then you are not fully fulfilled by Love. Am I saying live anyway you want to and don’t care about anyone but yourself? NO! What I am saying is if Love truly fulfills you, you will truly Love.
If you are still telling people how to live instead of Loving them no matter how they live then are you truly about Jesus?
