The law tool! 3 – your future!
The kingdom of God, Heaven, Eternity is Not something that starts when you are dead! It starts the second you realize His system for righteousness and rest in Only that!
“Woe to you experts in the law, because you have taken away the key to knowledge. You yourselves have not entered, and you have hindered those who were entering.” Luke 11:52
You will never be at Peace in the present if you are worried about the future! You will never have the Peace that passes All understanding as long as you have a “reminder of sin” and “the power of sin” in your life!
The law brings worry, condemnation, shame and on a good day ego! That is the job of the law – to point you to Jesus!
Jesus invites you to Peace! Jesus invites you to Security beyond your wildest imagination as you rest in the knowledge and understanding that He Alone Is The One Who makes you Whole, Holy and Justified before God – without being worried about messing up!
“Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?” Matthew 6:26-27
This type on “no worries” spiritual life can and will only become a reality as you grasp the extent of Christ accomplishment on the cross and His message of Love over law!
The “experts in the law” will take that away from you for a very good reason – they want, need and crave control! They are not bad people in and of themselves, they have been misled as well and they are just passing on generations of how man has thought they could contribute to their own salvation.
Man never could and never will be able to accomplish one single thing that will matter a hill of beans when it comes to measuring up to the righteous requirements of the law! This is why Jesus came, ministered and established the new covenant which says Christ Alone Is our righteousness!
Your past is forgotten, your present is under Grace and your future is secure ALL because of the cross! You are no longer under the law that Never could make Anyone happy – Jesus finished the job and you are Holy as He is Holy because of Him Alone!
While many Christians say they believe this, they also say, “but” I have to do this and that to please Him, be righteous and stay in His favor!
The law for all its goodness and righteousness will Never allow you rest and Peace here and now about anything there and then because you will never be good enough to get it and your effort to get it will take you away from Jesus Being the Only resting place! – Got it?

Great question Steven – The law didn’t disappear – absolutely Not – its just that it has a job to do – bring us to Jesus! Once we are “in Christ” the laws job is over for us! It has created the shame and condemnation needed to bring us to The Source of Life – Jesus! Christ is the end of the law for All who believe! If Christ is inside of you then the laws fulfillment is also inside of you!
