What makes God sick?

Why do we follow things that make Him sick?

“The Pharisees, who loved money, heard all this and were sneering at Jesus. He said to them, “You are the ones who justify yourselves in the eyes of others, but God knows your hearts. What people value highly is detestable in God’s sight.” Luke 16:14-15

What did Jesus say about the most legalistic people and the most law observant people of the day here?

Yes God detest what we value highly – why? Because  without Being in Grace what we value highly hurts us, others, destroys the time we have to live Here and Now – yes as you will see the law and appearances are some of those things that we value highly and He detest!

Having a relationship with God starts with knowledge of Who He Is and who you are in Him as well as how you got to that state of being!

God longs for, cherishes, craves and thoroughly enjoys having a relationship with His children! Here is the reason why He has difficulty having that relationship:

We have our eyes tuned into appearances, gain and pain relief outside of His Grace which is the ultimate and Only permanent pain reliever because it means the end of the law!

I have found in my journey that my relationship with God started when I began to see less and less law that I was under and it flourishes as I care less and less of what people think and focus on Love!

Loving God is NOT obeying the law – its obeying Jesus – who taught us that loving other fulfills All the law and the prophets! He taught us through His very life that ultimate Love was, is and always will be giving up even your very own life for another!
