Snatching defeat from His arms of victory!
Most of us who were raised in churches were taught that Gods Victory depends on us. Although this wasn’t stated, it was most definitely implied and in this understanding Jesus becomes a weak historic side note at best!
You see in this doctrine victory in Jesus depends on our ability to obey More law better so instead of growing Faith this idea builds failures as No one was ever declared righteous by the law! In fact the purpose of the law was and is to bring us TO Christ, once IN Christ, Faith and the growth of Faith IS the Victory! Faith grows by Resting in Him and in fact Faith IS Rest!
The reason so many Christians feel defeated is that they are fighting the wrong battle – they are fighting a battle already won and missing the Victory that makes them complete IN Christ Alone!
