The difference between the most common gods followed (a god of more) and The God of All Creation really boils down to this – a god of more Always takes what you give and screams for “MORE!” The God of All Creation Always Freely Gives more than you need and whispers, “I Love you my child.”
“Then the LORD said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground.” – Exodus 14:15-16
Faith grows by two words, “Move On!” A relationship with God blossoms and develops in just two words, “Move On!” If I were to choose any two words for how His Great Love has changed me, made me complete and radically healed me, I would choose, “Move On!”
The greatest challenge in growing Faith is to “Move On” to dry ground when all you see is water, But then that’s the God we serve! Faith doesn’t grow in a vacuum sealed laboratory – it grows with the whole Egyptian military behind you, the Red Sea in front of you and Only God with you!
The beauty of “Move On” and growing Faith is that when God tells you to “Move On” He Gives more than you need!
Dry ground is a classic example of how God has left me in between a rock and the Red Sea so many times before but once I stepped out not only did the sea part but the ground was dry as well! Not only did the past (the Egyptian army) go away, but God created the most Amazing moments for me to see His handiwork through the Grace that was bought and paid for In Full on the cross!
When a person really and truly Gets Grace, when they understand the position the cross and the resurrection have placed them in, when they see that Christ IS the end of the law for All who believe, their path is easy, they are on dry ground with the past behind them! The law would have you bogged down in the mire of the past, the law would keep you under a shadow of things passing, and the law would have you Not in a relationship but in a religion!
God and a relationship with Him is NOT in some anally retentive set of rules or in a building – He Is In your heart or you haven’t met Him!
