Mission Impossible
“For what the law was powerless to do….God did, sending His Son….” Romans 8:3-4
The law was already in place and believed by many then as well as now to be the path to God – and this is exactly the way satan likes it!
Why?
1) When we focus on the law, we take our eyes off of His Love for others and focus instead on their badness and Not Gods Goodness!
2) When we focus on the law, we take our eyes off of His Love for us and focus instead on our badness and Not Gods Goodness!
3) When we focus on the law, we take our eyes off of His Love through His Finished work on the cross and focus instead on our works instead of Gods Goodness!
The law is Gods tool for showing us our need for Him – that’s it! It’s our tutor to bring us to Christ – that’s it! “For Christ IS the End of the law for All who believe!”
