The BE…lieves Preface
There are some ideas, some far fetched notions that dont make human common sense but do make life a Beautiful adventure and in fact make it worth living. In this devotional series called “The BE…lieves” I Hope to explore these nonsensical notions however let me first explain the “why” of them.
The idea of Faith in something Greater and Better and Faith in LOVE, Perfect LOVE that is beyond our comprehension has created tremendous Rest and Peace for me. Faith is essentially Resting and in this Resting I have found not only a Beautiful place for myself even during my darkest hours, but I have also found a way to encourage others in the midst of great storms and turmoil.
For Faith to grow the great storms and turmoil must happen and as it happens and we learn to Rest our Faith grows. Faith is like a muscle that must be used and put into practice.
The Real challenge with Faith is in the “what” … for example if I have Faith in a religion or ideology then my life is focused on defense and disappointment. If my Faith is focused on LOVE and Grace then my life is focused on acceptance of myself and others as well as Peace, Patience and Resilience.
In short the “why” of Faith has been created by The God Who IS Love to allow us to Be at Peace, Resting in the idea of Love we many times cant see so that we can focus our life on that which brings the truest Joy which is Loving and Accepting each other and our present moment.
