How do you maintain thankfulness with upcoming pain?
What covenant?
What was “poured out for many”?
Please read Mark 14:23-24
Vs. 23 “Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, and they all drank from it. “This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many,” he said to them.”
When Jesus took the cup and gave thanks He wasn’t in pain-yet! This is called Being, Here, Now in the belief system I follow and Jesus showed us how to do that time and again.
He came to create a new covenant and a new way to relate to God not based on effort or doing but based on Being, Here, Now.
How can we Be, Here, Now on consistent bases?
1) Realize who God is- God is Love and He Loves you more than you do yourself!
2) Realize who you are- Believe and Be a child of God who can sit in His lap anytime!
3) Realize where you are- Right Here is exactly where God wants you!
4) Realize that His timing- Now He has you in this place and it is perfect!
His blood and His sacrifice changed- Everything and if it hasn’t for you it can be changed in an instant- Just Believe and Love- that’s it!
Find a time maybe early in the morning or some anytime when you probably won’t be disturbed. Take a few deep breaths and just surrender all your stress, thoughts and pain. Remember the beauty of meditation is you can’t judge yourself and when you catch your mind being someplace else just bring it back to Here and Now. As you begin to breathe regular with no effort just follow the breath and:
Breathe in and say:
“God may I Be Here”
Breathe out and say:
“And Be Now in Your Love”
Practice this until you can rest with this moment and in this place and know that you are in the center of His precious and amazing Love beyond any idea of human love!
Don’t Worry- Be Grace-Full!!
