Spirit Living – Being Loved
The Blessed curse of all that has been in your life is simply there to remind you that you are Never too big, grown up or cool to be wrapped up in Daddy’s arms of unconditional and eternal Love!
Growing into The Blessing of Now on a continual basis is or has been for me a lifelong process and on most days it is still challenging because the pain of my past, pressure of my future or problems of my present scream for MORE attention. And yet there is this still, small, whisper of a voice that bids me to “Be still and know” that He Is God And God Is Love!
“Hear me, Lord, and answer me, for I am poor and needy.” – Psalms 86:1
The verse above was written by a king, The king for many Israelites who still see him, King David as the greatest leader that ever ruled Israel and yet he was, “poor and needy.”
Why? How?
I am not the sharpest tool in the shed and far from the most educated by man’s standards but this much I have seen in my spirit and it enlivens my soul,
The Only thing that makes life worth Living is Love! God Is Perfect Love!
As long as we fight the idea of Perfect Love we are fighting the idea of The One Who’s image we were made in and that will Never produce any sort of life worth living.
The reason why we are “poor and needy” is that we struggle with who we think we are or have been convinced that we are instead of seeing who He knows us to Be. Who He Knows us to Be Is His most Beloved child, blessed by God Almighty to Be Exactly who we are in this moment And Loved just as we are in this moment made wHOLeY by Christ Alone!
Please meditate on the above paragraph for a few moments. When you have look at this scripture below and focus on what is Now and past tense:
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!” – Romans 5:8-10
“We were sinners” “Christ died for us” “justified by His blood” “saved from Gods wrath” “having been reconciled” – my hope and prayer is that each of us can begin to see who we are to The God Who Is Love beyond anything conceivable to the human mind and The Freedom that we have from the law and our past tense state of being!
