Are your eyes open yet?
“I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms, far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come.” – Ephesians 1:18-21
What hope have you been called in?
Is it the hope of the never ending hamster wheel of effort based religion as a hamster on a wheel? Or is it the Hope to which He has already secured and made Freely available for you because He Loves you beyond your wildest imagination?
Look at this passage, read it, ingest it, live with this for a while and chew on it for days, weeks or years until you get this undisputable fact from it – you have been given the same Power that raised Jesus Christ of Nazareth from the dead!
Yes that’s right you have that Power and the same Power that is above all rule and authority and that has Jesus seated at the right hand of the Father – not only right now but also in the life to come!
Do you know why? It’s because of a relationship – you believe – you have a relationship with God Almighty NOT based on your effort or the rule book or some stupid dogma you follow – it’s passed on Who your Daddy is!
The problem is there is a being called the devil and he wants you to follow the rule book, get stuck in the shame cycle and never have your eyes open to the reality on Whose you are and who you are in Him!
