The Jesus you think you know is Way too small unless you can see Him in everyone you meet! The God you think you know is either beyond your ability to comprehend – or you don’t know Him!

Why did the religious leaders of the day hate Jesus?

“He said to them, “If any of you has a sheep and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will you not take hold of it and lift it out? How much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.” – Matthew 12:11-12

If you have never thought of Jesus as a tattooed, Harley rider wearing an earring and leather- perhaps you should start!

Only one thing mattered to Jesus! YOU!!

Everything else was just for the legalistic, self-righteous wannabes who sat around and tried to control access to God. Jesus was never on their Christmas list and this was the group that frustrated Jesus because they had head knowledge but heart stupidity- and they still do!

The bottom line for Jesus was ALWAYS and will ALWAYS be about YOU! He Loves You and that is NEVER going to change. The good news of the gospel is that you can now rest in that. There are NO gate keepers between you and God- not now or evermore!

Jesus didn’t give two squats for any rule, law, guideline or edict that would separate you from Him. NOTHING can separate you from the Love of God and no one knew that better than Jesus!

Rest in this fact, take it to the bank and rely on it- NOTHING matters to God but you! His relationship with you is the Only thing that He cares about and He will do anything to prove that- Need proof- “For God so Loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him shall never perish!” Need more proof- 2 words the cross!

Find a time and a place where you probably won’t be disturbed and start taking some deep breaths to just relax. With each exhale get a sense if there is any stress in your body and just release it without a whole lot of effort if possible. Once you feel a bit more relaxed just get back to breathing normally and:

Breathe in and say:

“Love is”

Breathe out and say:

“All that matters”

Practice this way until you like Jesus are a rebel with a cause!
