There are some birds that have never understood they are birds and as a result they never fly.
When we know what He made us for – flight happens! If we say we know Him and don’t know why He made us, the pit will be our constant home with momentary emotional hops to keep us hooked on the idea of false love.
“But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.” – Luke 6:35-36
The world is a dark, scary, performance based place – Jesus was, is and always will Be The Light of Perfect, Free, Unearned LOVE from Above and He calls us to Be that as well.
love from the world wants something in return – Perfect Love keeps giving without expecting anything in return!
love from the world gives for self gratification – Perfect Love gives for the Hope and Healing of the other!
love from the world says “look at my goodness” – Perfect Love points toward His Goodness!
love from the world creates fear that it will end based on performance or circumstances – Perfect Love cast out All fear by its Unconditional and Eternal nature!
