What does God think?
Who knows the thoughts of God?
Please read 1 Corinthians 2:11-12
Vs. 11 “For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us.”
Have you ever thought it was odd that Jesus while here on earth spent so little time talking about the law?
I mean here is God in human form and instead of being direct and telling us exactly what to do – He tells parables and stories that many people still scratch their heads over.
Why is that?
“God Is Love” and in Jesus that Love was made known to us and brought into a very sharp focus. Question – Do you think that God is all powerful?
I believe He is and that God is NOT in the answers – He Is in the Love!
God and a relationship with Him is a never ending journey for a very good reason. If I have the answers I become arrogant much like many who claim to know exactly what God wants.
What do I know to be true about God:
1) God Is Love – before you just wave this off as oh yeah we all agree on that I would challenge you to spend some time just breathing in and out with your eyes closed in a quiet place saying “God Is” and outbreath “Love” – do this for a while and don’t assume His Love is exactly the way you see it right now.
2) Jesus was and is – Jesus showed us what God really cares about – Love! He came, died and with that death invited me to die as well so when He rose I could rise as well. In that rising “All things became new” – He changed me, the law I was under that brought me to Him and the more I understand Him I see He changed the world around me as well.
One of the keys to following Christ is this understand the gift and then be open to Love. “If your heart does not condemn you – you are not condemned.”
