Are you still cut off from God?

Why are you still oppressed?

Why do you feel judgment?

By oppression and judgment He was taken away. Yet who of His generation protested? For He was cut off from the land of the living; for the transgression of my people He was punished.” – Isaiah 53:8

Jesus changed everything with how we would relate to God! Simple statement but rarely lived by many and perhaps most who claim affiliation with the Christian dogma.

He took all the crap that separated you from God and the Love from above and He simply said, “It is finished” when all that junk that you can’t do anything with was for once and for all dead! This is called Grace!

This shouldn’t have come as a big surprise to anyone but it did- why?

Because there are many forces who work day and night to get you to feel like Jesus didn’t do enough for you and you have to do more. Basically we are hard wired and beaten into the idea on a regular basis that says we need more.

This need for more can and will leave you sitting on a dung heap of effort and brokenness at the end of the day and the end of your life and it will completely alienate you from the kingdom of God which is inside you.

Here is a meditation for you. Find a time and a place where it will be quiet and hopefully you won’t be disturbed. If you are just get back to your breath and don’t judge yourself about it losing concentration. Take several deep breathes and with every exhale feel your stress flow out to Him. As you do begin get a picture of Christ being oppressed and judged- whatever that would look like for you try as best you can to get that picture and Do Not judge yourself or the picture. Instead as you get this picture:

Breathe in and say:

Jesus took All

Breathe out and say:

My oppression

Practice this until you can feel a sense of lightness in your soul and then think on this question:

Does this thought cause me to Love God more than being under the law for righteousness?
