My Messiah – 12 – Knowing Mission Accomplished!

What made Jesus “satisfied” and how does that make a difference?

What is it that “will justify many” and how is that different from religiosity schools of thought?

After he has suffered,he will see the light of life and be satisfied;by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities.” – Isaiah 53:11

As a boy and a young man I spent much energy trying to remember my sins to confess them at night before I went to bed and trying to “do better” on the law the next day. I had heard I was no longer under the law But we all knew that a “Christian” would behave certain ways, you know like the “Big 10” and certain others that the preacher or our group seemed to have a “special word” from God on following. Yes, Jesus had “justified” us But to really be “good” you Have to Do things – in short Jesus wasn’t satisfied, His work wasn’t complete and the cross weak and didn’t finish the job!

Then came Grace! And for the first time in my life I saw a “satisfied” Jesus! And for the first time I saw myself as “Justified”, “Reconciled”,”Redeemed” and made wHOLeY as He is HOLY – And ALL because of Him!

Under the law I had a constant hamster wheel of existence with depression, guilt and shame as my constant companion.

The reason for my very existence that will only finish with my last breath is to share this message of Truly “GOOD NEWS” that even though in a church 9 months before I was born – I never Really heard it until out of suicidal desperation an Amazing Saint and Great Brother shared 7 questions that sent me “Knowing” that He bore All my “iniquities” and His Mission Was Accomplished – WOW! – did that change Everything!

Care to see Jesus “satisfied”?
