Prophecy is one of the most misunderstood things in all of human history. The children of Israel, the Jews, have a battered and tattered past that has made them the punching bag, victimized and abused outcast that they are usually seen as in the world. Few friends and little hope created a dire need for an all powerful military style leader that everyone was waiting on – The Messiah, The Son of Man!
What they got was a gentle, “love thy neighbor”, “friend of the sinners”, “glutton”, “drunkard”, out of work, trouble making, Samaritan loving, non-violent Jesus – Wow! That had to be a let down! Yes, a huge let down to everyone except the outcast, pain filled and hurting souls who needed Perfect Love.
To the ones who were in desperate need of healing, freeing, acceptance from The God Who Is Perfect Love beyond human imagination – Jesus was, is and always will be the Perfect Messiah!
The greatest challenge man faces today and the reason people look down on Christianity is that we have forgotten Who Jesus was, What He Alone accomplished, Why it matters and How “His Grace Is Sufficient for me!”
