The hurting souls throughout time have been desperately pleading for this one lifeline of Hope and yet all too often they are thrown an anchor of dispair instead. It wasn’t meant to be this way, but it was allowed to get this way because it shines Grace all the brighter into the deepest crevasses of pain.
“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.” – Luke 6:41-42
There is a speck in your eye and a forest grows in mine and All Righteousness comes from the old wooden cross! There is a speck in your eye and a forest grows in mine and Praise God His Grace Is Sufficient for me and ALL Righteousness comes through Him.
Jesus time and again invited us to Not be moralistic policemen but instead to See the way He saw people then and sees people now. Jesus saw the soul in pain and the mask provided by the god of MORE or satan. The mask could be the religious leaders pious snobbery which angered Jesus almost every time He encountered it or the mask could be the little man being a big tax collector who everyone hates but his money was his mask.
Jesus invited us to drop our mask, leave our facade reach the point of understanding that we are All in need of The Righteousness that Only His Love could provide and Stop judging as our works have NOTHING to do with The Righteousness from Christ Alone! Christ is the end of the law for All who believe and by Gods Grace through Faith we are saved from the forest of our unrighteousness!
