The border or boundary that a being puts on LOVE will make a life an existence or an Amazing Journey. Grace for most is less than Amazing for the simple fact that Unconditional and Incomprehensible LOVE is not understood with the depth, passion and promise that it truly has and is.
“The law was brought in so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more, so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” – Romans 5:20-21
The path for Christianity to move from just another religion to a “OH MY GOD” Relationship starts with an understanding of the purpose of the law. Why is that?
Because the law is good and we are not! Because the law is holy and we are miserable!
BUT then came JESUS!
And because of that ALL righteousness is found in Him Alone.
I know many say this, including the old religious ways I used to follow, but they have been blinded by legal comfort or boundaries through the devil who rejoices in the fact of human ignorance about The Grace of God. Let me give you one example of a boundary that many place on Grace. Most religious groups say that homosexuality is bad, it’s a sin and they will not allow it in their group. Where is Grace in this situation? Especially considering that probably every man in the church is an adulterer by Biblical standards and those taught by Christ.
The purpose of the law was Always to get us to Gods Grace, The Resting Place that once Jesus came was permanently settled through one perfect sacrifice. Once you believe, the law no longer has any job or purpose in your life except that the devil uses it to make you feel shame and guilt.
