The start of Faith is moving from that which is Not Faith – the law is Not Faith! The law got you to Faith but in this passage you will see the two words God uses to move you on in a relationship with Him!
“Then the LORD said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on.”…… 18The Egyptians will know that I am the LORD when I gain glory through Pharaoh, his chariots and his horsemen.” Exodus 14:15, 18
“Move on!” If there was ever a mantra of God for His children (you and me) outside of “God Loves me!” – “Move on!” would be it!
Why do I say this outside of the above scripture? Because that is the way God made everything happen, makes everything happen and will always create a path for you!
“MOVE ON!” – know that the law was the tool that got you to Christ but Not the evaluator of you or anyone!
“MOVE ON!” – know He IS God and He has made The Way for you to leave condemnation, guilt and shame behind forever!
“MOVE ON!” – know that your enemies that are on your heels are only there to shine the Love of God, provide Glory to God and help you remember the Faithfulness of God!
It doesn’t matter whether that enemy is an addiction like legalism or a person who has been put on earth to create a need in you for Love from Above – “MOVE ON!”
It doesn’t matter that the water is not parted yet and you can’t see the way – “MOVE ON!”
The message of Christ, His ministry and the completion of God’s plan through His death burial and resurrection was, is and always will be – “MOVE ON!”
Faith is built one “MOVE ON!” at a time – this is why Grace is critical to grasp for a believer to grow! The first “MOVE ON!” that God gives is this, “Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for All who believe!” – Romans 10:4
Christ said it several other ways, “Love your neighbor as yourself and so fulfill all the law and the prophets!” In addition He said, “It is finished!” which meant God and man could have union again based solely on His Love for them.
But here is the lesson from this beautiful passage and show of God’s deliverance – you cant do it on your own, the battle has been won by God already so rest, trust and let your Faith in Him grow as you “MOVE ON!”
