Who is justified before God?
“and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” – Romans 3:24
And Luke 18:14
“I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”
Justified is a term used to explain that in a court of law something or someone has been made right. In this case the one made right is you! And it’s only because of His boundless Love!
Here is one key to being in Heaven or Hell while on earth- I don’t know your heart and you don’t know mine- I don’t know how God is working in you and you don’t know how He is working in me.
In other words, “Shut up and Love!” Love like Jesus loved and remember He is the one who said, “there is no one good except the One who sent me.”
What am I trying to say is rather simple but requires His Love to follow through on. I cannot judge you and you cannot judge me because as soon as we do it takes our eyes off of loving each other and it begins to place barriers between us.
Let me point out some ways you can see the damaging effects of judgment in today’s newspaper:
1) Christianity vs. Islamic- or for that matter any two religions fighting. It’s all about judgment and an unwillingness to accept that God is in control. “Be right” response- just Love!
2) Church splits and people being turned off by God- Whoever told you that you had a lock on the way things “should” be done lied to you- only God has that so trust Him!
3) Genocide and for that matter strife around the world- We are all His children and He gives all equal opportunities to be wrong which means this just might be your turn.
Let’s take a moment to absorb this scripture shall we. Find a time and place where you probably won’t be disturbed and start by taking a couple of deep breaths. With each exhale just relax a bit more and Be Here Now in this moment and at this time with God. As you get more relaxed return to normal breathing and:
Breathe in and say:
“All are justified”
Breathe out and say:
“By His Grace”
Practice this for a while and may God will help you grasp the idea that we were called to be His Love Light in this world NOT His extra judge. No one knows the hearts of man except God.
