Building a Life?
For the Jew and for any religious person, life was and is built on keeping a strict legal or moral code – basically adherence to the law or code provides some peace of mind built on performance.
For the GraceFull it’s different and that is why the early church was so persecuted.
“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. For what the law was powerless to do because it was weakened by the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh to be a sin offering. And so he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.” – Romans 8:1-4
Look at the life that is being built by releasing all your legalistic condemnation, shame and other pain onto His back and what He already accomplished:
1)You can see your true value through what He did.
2)You can accept yourself and teach others to do the same.
3)You can see the others through eyes of love despite their actions.
4)You can be at Peace with the voices of the past which are ruining your present.
5)You can be present Here and Now for yourself and others.
6)You develop A ThankFull heart that shines Joy into your life and others.
These are just a few of the benefits of leaving the law for Grace. The process of doing this is the journey to “the kingdom of God” which is “inside you” and when you look above I think you can see why. To see the “how to” guide, go to the link below:
