Within the narrow confines of human knowledge and understanding there is almost complete ignorance of the wisdom in a single whisper!
One single whisper changed EVERYTHING – “It is finished!”
This whisper so simple and yet so complete in its utterance indicates that the gap that had been between God and man was Closed Once and for All! The law which is “the power of sin” was suddenly no longer causing a distance God and man because the gap was no longer there!
The greatest challenge for Christians today is to realize and live in the light of this simple whisper as most Christians still live under the law and seem to think that everyone else “should” as well!
