Out with the old – in with the new – Remember!

In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.” – Luke 22:20

What does His blood mean to you?

What was the way people used to be judged righteous?

If you do not understand the blood of Christ, if you don’t grasp the difference between the old and “the new covenant” and if His gift didn’t make you complete without any other doing or moralistic checklist – well then you are screwed!

That is the most Biblical way to say it that I know of – there is no further sacrifice left! The One and only sacrifice has been made and there is nothing else that can or ever will be done for your sins!

The end of little jesus starts with the understanding of His Love and just how Big the cross really was and is!

Simply put here Jesus is saying – It is finished – there is nothing more you can do – nothing more can be added and nothing can be taken away – the price has been paid the old covenant is obsolete and now you have this Amazing Gift of Being able to stand before All Holy All Powerful God the One above All and by Whom All things were made and you can stand there with confidence!

When you drink this cup remember this – it doesn’t get any better than Big Jesus and the cross!

Adam separated us but Christ united us, once and for All – All the deeds that needed to be done have been completed and ALL things became new!

When you drink this cup and eat this bread – remember this – think on this! HE is the end of the law for All who believe because He is in us and He fulfilled the law!

When you eat this bread and drink this cup – are you following little jesus or big Christ – the Alpha and Omega – the Beginning and the End?

Is eating the bread and drinking the cup something that you do or a call to remember what He has done?

Care to start living in the awareness of His did and Not in the exhaustion of your doing?
