At some point every one who believes in Him really needs to consider how complete His gift really was and is! Did He completely make us whole or does He need out help? The reason I ask this is that I hear from people every day about God’s expectations on us. Get out of the desert already! Either Jesus completed His mission or we are all on a bobsled to Hell with no exit plan short of 1,000,000 degrees Celsius! You were cursed but guess what – Jesus took on your curse – the more you get this and soak in this the more Gratitude grows and Love overflows!

When was Jesus a curse?

What does that mean to you?

The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says, “The person who does these things will live by them.” Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.” – Galatians 3:12-13

Jesus became a curse for you and I and that changed everything spiritually!

The law that was originally set up by God made it so we would have to constantly be asking for, performing and sacrificing for forgiveness. Jesus, God’s only son was the ultimate sacrifice who performed the permanent deed for our one time request.

How?

By becoming the curse that weighed on us in order to bring us to a life we didn’t deserve and never could have measured up to living.

What does that mean to you?

That really depends on you. If you accept that He came, lived, loved and died so that the curse could be lifted and you could be free- then it means an awesome spiritual adventure.

If you choose to not accept the free gift it means that you will keep trying to make sense of why you never feel worthy or never think there is a God or never believe anyone could Love you like He does.

I am not talking about the people who yell and scream at you about trying to act like them and think like them- that is not the Jesus who became the curse and who set you free.

I am talking about The Jesus who has His arms wide open for you to run into and who Loves you warts and all. The Jesus who’s Love cannot now or ever be separated from His children.

Care for a challenge:

Try this exercise for the next several days. Find a time and a place where you probably won’t be disturbed. Take several deep breaths and just become as relaxed as you can without trying to force it. When you feel a bit more relaxed just go back to normal breathing and:

Breathe in and say:

God show me

Breathe out and say:

Your great Love for me

Practice this for a few weeks and don’t be too surprised by the results as sometimes He needs to get us to where we can listen and see.

Don’t worry-Be Grace-Full!!
