Jesus who?

Transform to what?

Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.” – John 1:12-13

To the religious, a person comes to Christ and then through hard work and sacrifice and constant defeat and struggle, they learn to obey the law to a greater degree, check boxes and look right!

To the Grace-Full, a person comes to Christ and learns that Gods Goodness and Love never fail, that they have been made complete in the Finished work of Christ Alone which breeds Gratitude, they grow in Peace as they rest in this Love and they grow in the Fruits of the Spirit through an ongoing realization of their completeness Not due to their doing but Solely Completed by Christ on the cross with Only belief in His name!

To the religious or the Legalist life itself is an ongoing hamster wheel of human effort to do what has already been completed so that they can feel good, gain valuable business contacts and have friends that have similar ideas of “goodness” just like the rich young ruler who Christ sarcastically said, “You have done good!”

To to Grace-Full there is Rest in an Abundant Life that while it still has ups and downs, this life maintains a sense of Rest as the Only idea of “good” was seen on the cross and growing in Love creates Life
