How do we make the Heroes Pilgrimage of Grace?
What is the one understanding we must have to make this journey?
“For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” … Matthew 23:12
When we come to the realization that the only purpose of the law was to create our need for Perfect Love then we understand it’s humbling affect and why it’s so very vital.
How are we humbled?
- The knowledge of our inability made plain by the law … this is why Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount talked about the many blessings of the broken and hurting.
The beginning of sight on His Perfect Love … yes His Love is Perfect and we can never fully understand that But the Greater we Rest (have Faith in) it – the better our lives will be.
The revelation that “Christ is the end of the law for all who believe” … as this gives us a glimpse into the Perfect nature of His Love and our reconciled state with God.
