God’s pill for my big head!
Does God love you enough to keep you healthily ill?
Is the reason there is no cure for humaness so we will have holiness?
“Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” – 2 Corinthians 12:7-9
Have you ever been in a relationship with someone who was full of self-pride and self-love?
Kind of like a parachute on a submarine or tits on a bull isn’t it?
God Wants You! God Wants a Relationship with You!!
As a result He Loves you so much that He sent His only Son and as a result He Loves You enough that He will allow you to be blessed with something that keeps you humble and looking up.
Depression – you are blessed as God is the ultimate antidepressant. Depression for me has forced me to open a once bound religious mind to the idea that Gods Love is Greater than anything I was ever taught in any religious institutions.
Physical pain – double blessing as God is the ultimate pain reliever and through your pain relief from Him others will see your faith and want what you have. As the pain increases know that in every moment God has you in His arms and He allows All pain for a purpose.
Faith is a spiritual muscle and it is built one rep at a time. When your thorn comes up and starts to take your attention off of Him and His Love- Exercise the faith and it will grow but don’t expect that thorn to ever be taken away.
Why?
1) It keeps you focused on Him so He can flow His Love to all those around you.
2) It helps you see that while you are no longer under law but in Grace through Christ- you are still weak and you need Him.
It’s not a question of sin if you are in Grace- it’s a question of education and He knows the best way to teach us exactly what we need.
Don’t Worry- Be Grace-Full!!
