Growing Goodness – 2

“Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” Psalms 23:6

The darkest valleys I have trod led to the greatest scenic overlooks of my life. It didn’t make the valley any less dark, but it did grow my Peace in Gods Goodness while being up to my neck in quicksand.

Corrie Ten Boom, Anne Frank, the Apostle Paul, Jesus Christ and Galileo all have one thing in common. They all went against the religious establishment to teach that there was Something or Someone bigger than us and it’s not only good to believe in it, it’s Liberating, it’s Uniting and it’s PeaceFull! This also is the single greatest thing that is killing America and the whole human race – our collective inability to accept this, but then man has never been comfortable with The God Who Loves him as he is and not as he should be.

Growing in Faith is not for the weak of heart but then again neither is Abundant Life! This soon to be past year, 2015, has been the single darkest year of my life – and Glory to God the one most strewn with Faith manure. Faith manure is that which grows Faith the best and like the soil a tasty mushroom it smells bad and works best in the dark!

Learn to see His Goodness and His Love for you at the darkest times as those are the times when it is hardest to see and in so doing “surely His Love and Goodness will follow you all the days of your life and you will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever!”
