Pop test! Which is the good stubborn?
Is there a time to be stubborn?
When were rules meant to be broken?
Please read Luke 6:10-11
Vs. 10 “He looked around at them all, and then said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He did so, and his hand was completely restored. But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law were furious and began to discuss with one another what they might do to Jesus.”
I have been blessed to be able to write about this story before but this time I would like to look at a new element of it- Stubbornness in the face of legalism and stubbornness that would continue suffering.
Christ broke the Sabbath and that was obvious but why?
LOVE!!
The religious leaders were also stubborn but why?
Law!!
There is no law and no regulation and no edict that will ever surpass Love!!
If we miss this we miss the gospel- Yes that is right the Good News of the gospel of Christ was not just that He died but that He died once and for All that All may live not under the law but IN HIM!
Here is a simple way to miss life- follow the rule book and not your heart!
The Pharisees, teachers of the law and other religious nut cases here would rather follow the rule book then see a person liberated- this is anti-Christ!
Be stubborn yes but be a stubborn Lover like Christ and see the world change in front of your eyes. Wear the t-shirt proudly and loudly that what you seek is to share Love with people and watch people line up just to see you smile- That’s the condition of the world even today.
Don’t see change from people seek to Love them and the rest is in His Almighty hands.
Dont worry- Be Grace Full!!
Yes, no the oldness of the Letter, but in Newness of Spirit.
Thanks Bob, I use your:
Nine words one on the street now.
God is Love
God loves you
God loves me
then might add
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou Shalt Be Saved
and / or
Jesus is the Way (to The Father), The Truth (of The Father), and The Life,
no man cometh unto The Father except by Me…
We’ll talk again as I got free in the beginning of my Salvation…
“Oh Foolish Galatians”
Amazing Grace
How sweet the sound that saved wretches like u and me
Thank you so very much Bruce for sharing!
Amen – I never knew wheat it meant “raised to walk in newness of life” until Grace was opened to me
or maybe I might say until I opened to Grace!
There was so much peripheral stuff that I was taught was important that Freedom sounded like just
another word – God in Heaven may I never let another think that way!
I am so glad that those nine words are something you use and Yes I see the realness of adding what you
said. People need to know that this isn’t some religion and praying to a stone will just make you
thirsty for the Real Water!
Thank you for sharing His Amazing Grace and for the GraceFull moment that has brought me this day!
