Have you ever had “god regret”?
Have you ever served a god that caused you regret?
Was it your choice to serve that god?
Could it be that the god of your understanding and the God of Love are not the same?
Please read Matthew 27:3-5
Has there ever been a time when you realized something too late?
Have you ever seen an 80 year old man who has nursed a grudge since he was 20?
Not many of those type of people exist because grudges break you down just like regret. I have seen some older people who have some regret and that is always a tough thing to see.
“When Judas who had betrayed Him, saw that Jesus was condemned, he was seized with remorse and returned the 30 pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders. “I have sinned” he said, “for I have betrayed innocent blood.” – Matthew 27:3
Is there ever anyway to turn your back on pure Love and NOT be “seized with remorse”?
I cant think of one single way that a person can serve something or someone other than the God of Love and Forgiveness and not have tremendous regret and remorse. You can run from Love friend but you will only die broken.
But if you become broken I know the number one and only repair Guy really well and He makes amazing house calls. You could be in the middle of a firefight in the middle of Baghdad and He will come to you. You could be in the darkest alley pushing a needle in your arm or even just sitting in a hollow church pew and He will come to you.
“So Judas threw the money into the temple and left. Then he went and hanged himself.” – Matthew 27:5
Dont wait too late to find out that your god is too small!
Signs your god is too small:
1) Your god always wants more than you just as you are here and now.
2) Your god doesnt focus on Love for others.
3) Your god isnt there for you when you cry out.
4) Your god doesnt lead you into healing, forgiveness and Love.
5) Your god has a list of expectations you must meet to be worthy of them.
There is a true God and that “GOD IS LOVE!!” This is a type of Love like no other and a God who is never small.
