If I look back on my life every difficulty I have had was a misunderstanding on my part of Who God Is, How He works and my position In that work! With this being said it begs a question or two:
What is God’s miracle cure?
Could it be that God’s cure is not always what we think?
“God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” – Exodus 3:14
God’s “cure” and our idea of a cure or an answer are often miles apart from what I have found in my life.
That being said His cure can take us through some very dark places in order to get to the light of His Love that always waits patiently on the other end.
Just because Moses got this message didn’t mean the hard part was over-LOL- it was just starting! He didn’t suddenly get an air conditioned camel to get to Egypt with.
In fact all he got was a mission and a promise- why?
Faith!
Every step Moses took in that 140 degree heat toward an unknown destination was a step of faith and growth- is the same true today?
From my experience- Absolutely YES!
But remember we are saved “by Grace through Faith and that not of ourselves (works) lest any man should boast.”
Yes while a Grace-Full walk is one of not being under the law- Faith will be grown one step in 140 degree desert heat at a time. Yes it’s great to not be under the law and to have that closeness with God but at times that also leaves some Faith growing moments you would never have expected.
This is a meditation that God has recently opened up to me that has been wonderful especially with some other things going on in my life right now. Funny how that works- situations come to grow us-LOL!
Find a time and a place where you probably won’t be disturbed- even if it is at work in the bathroom stall- Yes I have meditated there- long story, another time. Take a few deep breaths to just be still and relax a bit. As you do if you notice any stress points like a clinched jaw or tense shoulder blades just breathe into it and relax without putting too much effort into it. Once you feel a bit more relaxed go back to breathing normally and just:
Breathe in and say:
“I AM is (my need, for example, “Peace”, “Hope”, “Forgiveness”)
Breathe out and say:
“I am at (my need met, for example, “Peace”, “Hope”, “Forgiveness”)
Practice this way any time you have a need- He promised He would meet your needs and He is faithful and just to do that IF we trust Him and lean on Him for that need to be met!
