If God Is All Powerful why did He allow over 1,600 passages of scripture like this one to be in the Bible? Keep in mind there are more than 1600 but as of this moment I have only written about 1650 – All pointing to one irrevocable truth – Christ Alone apart from the law IS our righteousness – and why is that? Take a moment to read this passage and see for yourself.
What is the end of the law?
“Brothers and sisters, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge. Since they did not know the righteousness of God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness. Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be Righteousness for everyone who believes.” – Romans 10:1-4
My personal favorite here is verse 4.
I just had a conversation online with a man who told me he was a Christian but that Christ no longer lives here on Earth.
I have some amazing news He lives in His believers and He is the end of the Law.
Why do people struggle with the law?
I believe and am convinced after my own struggle that we are trying to meet God on our terms. In my feeble human capacity and with my protestant work ethic I think I have to work for anything and everything in my life.
This is the amazing part of the New Covenant of Christ. We cannot and will not ever be able to merit the gift He gave freely. Remember “ALL THINGS BECAME NEW” at the point where HE came into my heart and began living there.
Brothers and Sisters we don’t have to struggle with the Law because of what Christ did and Thank God because I never could have done it anyway!
When someone says God is good Wow! that’s the understatement of all times. God isn’t just good he is absolutely amazing in that He could have just kept the Law in place and man would have kept screwing up. Instead he sacrifices His only Son so we can have Him living in our heart and be shame free.
“CHRIST is the end of the law so that there may be
righteousness for everyone who believes.”
