Who is your “guardian”?

What “justified” you?

Vs. 23 “Before the coming of this faith, we were held in custody under the law, locked up until the faith that was to come would be revealed. So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith. Now that this faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.” – Galatians 3:23-25

Whose custody were you under before Jesus?

What did Jesus change?

Here we find another beautiful Grace passage and if you have ever been arrested or detained you have to appreciate the imagery.

The law had you in custody. Hands in handcuffs locked in a cell with no chance of getting out-

What changed that?

How are you justified?

Remember “faith” isn’t your religion. Faith is a trust, an acceptance, a step onto a bridge that has a 1000 foot drop on either side and you have no solid proof that the bridge will hold you up. You cant see faith but you can grow in faith- One step at a time on that bridge!

Yes Jesus can and will justify you completely and Yes He will be your guardian – IF you let Him.

Where many Christians experience pain is by being half in jail cell and half out, let me tell you from personal experience the prison cell bars going through you are rather painful and the depression that follows trying to get out of jail on your own- that stuff can kill- it almost did me!!

Don’t Worry- Be Grace-Full!!
