Are you feeling lucky?

How does God show His Love for us?

Are there examples of pain to cause completeness?

Please read Judges 16:21

Vs. 21 “Then the Philistines seized him (Samson), gouged out his eyes and took him down to Gaza. Binding him with bronze shackles, they set him to grinding grain in the prison.”

Lucky Samson!

Samson from what I have read had an ego that was only matched by His strength. He was a man who had in many ways began on track but then gotten off of it.

No one knows why some things happen but there are times when very bad things happen and they happen for some very good reasons:

1)    Ego got in the way of Love.

2)   What we have has become our salvation and our hope.

3)   We stop focusing on Love and instead look at superficial stuff (like law)

4)   We need to learn some other valuable lesson.

5)   God has a different direction for us and we didn’t listen to His gentle nudge.

6)   So others might see Him (just ask Job)

Why did Paul know that all things worked together for good? (Romans 8:28)

Perhaps because Paul had learned that whatever happens to him and at whatever moment he incurs that moment- it has passed Gods permissive will for us for a reason.

Learn the lesson and then it’s time to move on- the basic lesson of growing faith is that no two educational experiences are by the same point at the Red Sea. Samson found redemption in his last moments as he destroyed the enemies of God. Do you have any enemies surrounding you? Your pain is the reason for your enemies.

Here is a path to find out. Get in a quiet place and find a time when you probably won’t be disturbed. Begin to take several long breathes and with each exhalation see Him taking away your stress. Begin to get a picture in your mind of something that causes you pain. As you get that picture:

Breathe in and say:

God thank you

Breathe in and say:

For this moment

Practice this until you understood the reason for your pain.
