Embracing The Gift! Part 1
“Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.” – Isaiah 53:4-5
Do you still suffer and struggle to keep the law?
Is there still pain with trying to act a certain way to check off the boxes?
Embracing The Gift – Embracing Jesus – Is beginning to understand the depth to which the cross, His death and resurrection changed you and completed you!
Did God do a so-so job on anything ever?
Was the cross somewhat healing but not all the way?
Once you accept this simple Truth – you will be FREE Indeed!
EVERYTHING THAT YOU NEED TO HAVE A ONE ON ONE LOVE BASED RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD ALMIGHTY WAS COMPLETED ON THE CROSS!
Once and for ALL you and I were Healed from the broken being that mankind became due to the entrance of sin into the equation in the Garden of Eden!
Let the above soak in! Let it soak in real good – in fact take days, weeks or the rest of your life to realize this but Get this!
The reason you can be no longer under the law but under Grace is because of the completeness of The Gift! The reason you can be a new creation is because of the completeness of His healing! The reason reconciled is always past tense for a believer is because what God has done in the cross, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ can never be undone by you, another man or all the powers on earth or in hell or heaven!
Reconciled means to be put back together with something. In case you missed it Jesus once and for All Reconciled you by His pain, suffering, being crushed and bearing ALL that we should have but never could have bore!
REST in HIM means resting in the knowledge that is above in this passage! Gratitude is what grows from that rest as we begin to have Peace that endures All things based on our new position with Him due to His Gift in Jesus Christ!
I always liked the definition of reconciled from the dictionary as it relates to my relationship to god:
“to be made compatible with”
by the death of Christ (in the past) we are now (in the present) compatible with god. so let’s enjoy our walk with him forever.
And we know that the Father cant look upon sin – this is why the law is good for those under it, Not for those who are no longer under it!
Lets walk with, share with and Be with Him Here and Now and Forever!
